National organ donation day (Argentina)


 The national organ donation day is celebrated on May 30th (Argentina) because  in 1997, on May 30th, Dante was born. Dante’s mother had been the first case of liver transplant carried out at the  Argerich Hospital (Ciudad de Buenos Aires), in 1995. The aim of this day is to generate conscience about the importance of organ donation.
